Enjoy a guided wild foraging hike, a hands-on adventure to learn about Northeastern wild edible plants. Sarah will teach you how to identify a variety of plants, while maintaining the diverse forest ecology. This hike will focus on 10-20 specific plants & maintain a faster pace than the basics class. We will discuss the human-nature connection, the historical human relationship with the wild & we will hike some stretches of in silence to more fully engage our senses. Connect with Nature, Taste the wild!

Sarah Kelsen is a Principal & Ecological Engineer with LBS Ecological Design. Entertaining her joy for wild foraging, Sarah has recently lead hikes & hands-on workshops for clients such as VDKA 6100, Columbia, & Dewar’s Whisky. Sarah has a passion for experiential education & shares her respect for and knowledge of the natural world through the teachings of traditional ecological knowledge and a lifetime of relationship building with the wild.
