Painful periods aren't normal. Yet women are made to believe it's just "how it is" and/or they to be need to be tough and "just deal". But chronic pain can affect her work, relationships, self-worth, and can often lead to depression. This needs to change.

Jessica will share solutions to manage painful periods, give you the tools to be an advocate for your own reproductive health, and shed light on the symptoms of the painful disease (endometriosis) that 1 and 10 women suffer from. Even if you don't have painful periods, this information is something every woman needs to know. If not, to help yourself, but to share with the mothers, sisters, and friends in our lives. It could help dramatically change someone's life.
Class time devoted to lecture: 11-20 minutes
