Anyone who has more than dipped a toe in Yoga practice has undoubtedly discovered the profound but often untapped power of the breath. Pranayama and beatboxing - both breath-driven practices - are among the most enigmatic and potent practices within their respective fields of yoga and hip-hop. With this unique and immersive new approach, you'll learn how to find the perfect balance between internal and external energy management, using technologies based in ancient breath practice and contemporary hip-hop artistry.

This class will be divided into three segments. The first third will be mostly lecture, followed by a short period of learning techniques and group discussion, which will then lead into a forty-minute practice. The practice segment will be about half seated and half movement, but can still be quite heating and challenging, especially for those without much experience in pranayama or beatboxing.

This is a bonus activity. Add this class to your schedule on top of your four activities per day! All are welcome.
